A New Technology: Co-extrusion

Hulkwood composite cladding boards are made using advanced
co-extrusion technology, where a protective polyethylene layer is added to the surface. This layer shields the boards from moisture, prevents staining, and keeps the color from fading over time.

Thanks to this cutting-edge process, Fiberdeck confidently offers a 20-year warranty on WEO cladding boards, covering cracks, discoloration, and stains.

Vertical or Horizontal Installation?

Modena & Linia cladding boards can be installed either horizontally or vertically. Their trapezoidal shape helps water drain off effectively.
All profiles require consideration for thermal expansion—allow about 1 mm of expansion per meter of board length, and leave a 5 mm gap between board ends to accommodate movement.
The cladding is fixed invisibly. Depending on the slat design, it’s secured using either stainless steel clips or color-matched screws that are hidden in the grooves. Aluminum accessories like corner pieces and starter rails are also available to ensure clean and professional finishes.

Maintenance Made Simple

Hulkwood cladding boards are extremely low-maintenance. Certified lab tests have confirmed that the material resists discoloration and aging over time. There’s no need to apply protective oils or paint—thanks to the co-extruded surface, the boards are fully waterproof.
Unlike many other composite woods, Fiberdeck’s surface is non-porous, so dirt, dust, and moisture can’t seep in. Moss and grime can be easily brushed off.
Routine upkeep is simple—just rinse with clean water to keep the cladding looking like new.
