Modena composite cladding offers the perfect blend of aesthetics and performance. Designed to mimic the warmth and charm of natural wood, it eliminates the hassles of ongoing upkeep. Thanks to our advanced co-extrusion technology, WEO® panels are fully waterproof. A protective outer layer forms a durable barrier against moisture, insect damage, and—most importantly—fading and discoloration.

When installed horizontally, the trapezoidal open-joint profile not only adds a contemporary rhythm to the façade but also ensures effective rainwater drainage, preventing water buildup. The realistic wood grain, enhanced by subtle color variations, creates the impression of raw, untreated wood—without the vulnerability.

A Modern and Trendy Profile

Hulkwood Mondena composite cladding offers a modern solution with the charm of wood and none of the hassle. Its unique false skeleton profile enables fast and straightforward installation, either vertically or horizontally, depending on the visual effect you want to achieve—height or depth. Each 60mm slat is spaced evenly with a 10mm gap, offering a sleek open-joint look. Lightweight and dimensionally stable, these panels are designed for easy handling and reliable installation with our dedicated mounting system.

For added creativity, Hulkwood cladding Modena can be combined with Hulkwood cladding Linia profiles to introduce more visual variation and dynamic texture. The result is a contemporary, low-maintenance façade with the authentic look of natural wood.

Quick and Easy to Install

Hulkwood composite cladding boards are very easily installed using their groove-tab nesting system. They fasten on wood or metal frameworks by simple screwing in the wave base using self-drilling screws that are the same colour as the boards. This simple, quick system not only adjusts the boards by setting the nesting depth but also provides very discreet fastening of boards for a nearly invisible finish.

The replacement of a composite board is also extremely simple, which facilitates maintenance operations. The centre-to-centre distance between supports is 40 cm or 60 cm depending on the external façade exposure.

A range of accessories to make finishing perfect

To ensure a sleek and professional finish, the Hulkwood cladding range includes dedicated finishing accessories such as an F-profile and a clip-on corner kit, both crafted from durable aluminium and powder-coated in the same color as the cladding boards for a cohesive aesthetic. Each profile is available in 3-meter lengths.

The clip-on corner kit offers a subtle, elegant finish with a limited 50mm overlap, while the F-profile allows for effortless insertion of the cladding boards—no prior cutting required.

For more complex architectural details, additional custom-made cladding profiles may be necessary. These are outlined in the Technical Guide and should be fabricated by specialized sheet metal professionals. Materials include aluminium sheets in thicknesses of 1.0mm, 1.5mm, or 2.0mm, or galvanized steel with a minimum thickness of 0.75mm, as specified in the official Technical Assessment.

Coloured head stainless steel screws

The selected stainless steel screws for Hulkwood Modena cladding fasteners are nearly invisible thanks to their colour (same as boards). Fasteners in the wave base blend into the facing. The screw fasteners make it possible to very easily adjust the gap between two boards with clips only.
